my favorite bag

my friend, paige at pilgrims, recently sent me the sweetest gift.  i've become a big fan of handmade.  it just makes you feel good and special.  you know what i'm talking about. and she just happened to send me one of her pretty bags that she made. we are states apart, but we've become great friends through emails, facebook and long phone chats! the blogging community is amazing.  am i right?  if you live in the athens, ga area you should definitely go say hi to her at the athfest and look at her merchandise. she has new fabric that is so beautiful.  i think she'll be selling some clothing and other items along with her bags!  you can also check out her shop, lightnest.  (paige is also a fantastic photographer.  so while i'm at it... you should have her take your picture.)

paige has no idea that i'm doing a full write up about her bags (hi friend!), but i just think you all should know how great and well-made they are.  her straps are made by using leather and it's a super comfy, soft leather.  it's an open bag, but i've had no issues with things falling out because it slouches and lays so well. there are little pockets on the inside so i never lose my keys or burts bees and yes, i'm a total mom and have snacks, diapers, wipes, and a toy at all times plus my camera.  it's a roomy bag.  i've had lots of compliments from friends and even people passing in target have asked where i got it.
