we woke to a loud thump this morning... a huge branch had fallen on our back porch. it's only a matter of time until our dead tree does some damage. i'm so sad that it has to go. then, i came downstairs and noticed our fireplace was dripping water. not a lot, but enough that i hear the drops hitting the little bowls catching it. i'm spending the majority of the day on the sofa watching netflix and sipping hot tea... and i'm ok with that.
