friday senses. spring is near.

spring is near... 
                             

seeing:  lots of white... the snow is slowly melting away because i see sunshine!
hearing:  the sound of our little space heater. every. night. &
jon foreman's pandora station.
smelling:  my dog needs a bath.
tasting:  i've really been wanting a soft pretzel with cheese and an icee.  
(i might have to make a trip to target today.)
feeling:  more energy and loved.
reading:  i need some recommendations on baby/birth books to read.  
any that you feel are must reads?
loving: next week's weather forecast. (50's and 60's)
anticipating:  SPRING.
making: lists of what needs to be done this spring.
wishing:  i didn't have to work all weekend...
so i could spend time with husband and see my family.

    I'm in Oregon and there are small signs of spring and sunshine. Ready for flipflop weather :)

    I'm a friend of Aimee Swift (that's how I found your blog) and am currently almost 37 weeks pregnant with my second son...I just finished reading Ina May's Guide to Childbirth, which was recommended to me by a good friend and mother of 3 (third born just this past November). If you're at all interested in having a natural birth (or even if you're not), I highly recommend this book! It can be a little new-agey in parts, but it has SO much great information on how to have a natural childbirth! It's great!

    Since my sister is studying to be a certified doula/birth support, she's been reading a lot of books and I get to hear about the ebst of them....heh;)

    Baby Catcher by Peggy Vincent will probably always be my most favorite birth book e.v.e.r.
    Lots of women/mommies like it too. Your library should have it if you're going that way.
