my happy place today:

It's a rainy day in the Ozarks.  My plan is to get the place clean, clean, clean and organize!  Also, I'm going to hang out with my friend, Tessa, which is always a lovely time.

My list of birthday wishes thus far have been all things adult (which are way cute), but today I thought about this little girl.  She's my niece and just had her 4th birthday about a month ago. You know what she wished for?

TWO bunnies, ONE goat 
and a kitty cat.

Once upon a time, I had wishes like that too and in 5th grade my wish came true.  My parents got me a HORSE for Christmas.  What little girl wouldn't be absolutely ecstatic?

All these "things" I've wished for thus far will make me happy, but to feel like a little girl on Christmas morning with a brand new horse would mean the world to me.  This doesn't mean I won't find cute things I want for my birthdays and Christmas' to come.... it just means I'm aware that it's just "stuff" and that it's okay if I don't get everything I want.  My life is wonderful just the way it is.  I'm beyond blessed and I realize time is flying by way too fast.
