our weekend+monday

it was a good weekend... even though i had to work part of it.

we went to the lake to watch fireworks on our friends boat.

a BIG boat... a houseboat with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

today was one of the best days i've had in a while...

millie and i took a long walk on a trail 

while michael played frisbee golf with a friend, 

michael went shoe shopping with me 

(he ended up with shoes and i didn't)

we went and saw toy story 3 in the middle of the day.

we were the only people there without kids.

it was very, very good!

michael mowed, while i did some other yard work.

we relaxed.

we need more days like today.
