have i mentioned how much i LOVE my life group from church? we meet every thursday evening and it's becoming one of my favorite nights of the week, easily. we had our family time out in the country last night and had a surprise birthday party for my sweet friend, marilyn. this girl loves Jesus, is so full of life, and is such an encouragement in my life. michael and i are the youngest couple in the group so we learn so much from everyone. the girls had lots of little chats about babies & birth and i love hearing about their experiences. i might have to share a little about a couple (home births, natural births). michael didn't get to go last night because praise band practice happens to be on thursdays too. so i rode out there with a friend and her two kids. it's nice to have "girl talk" every now and then.... although i missed my husband being there. :)
hope you have a good weekend! anything fun planned for the first weekend of october? (can you believe it??) we plan on RELAXING a lot. :)
p.s. the last photo is just some of our group (we missed the curry's our leaders... they have 4 kids with 1 on the way! and a couple of the other families). we didn't involve the other 6 or 7 kids that were there last night.
