so, i've been slacking.  i haven't been blogging regularly and i'm surprisingly ok with this.  i spend my days playing with ellie and either taking naps or cleaning house when she's napping.  we also like to hang out with friends.  i feel so much more productive, but i also really kind of miss blogging/reading blogs. this new little person in our lives makes priorities a little (ok a LOT) different.  i'll learn how to balance it all eventually.  or at least make some more "me" time in the evenings when she goes to sleep and not fall asleep at 8 pm. ;)

in other news... we almost have a 6 month old baby, WHAT? she's doing the whole rocking on her hands and knees so it's just a matter of time before she learns how to move forward and not just backwards.  and i actually used my sewing machine.  i made a little heart pillow (inspired by rubyellen's) for little sophia curry that will be here any day now.  now that i know how to use it maybe i'll do it more.

    I think it's wonderful that you're blogging less in order to spend time with your little one. That means you're a good momma and you're taking in life's precious moments.     I understand prioritizing... Now that I work I only want to be with Olivia when I get home. Ellie is getting so big! I love that little pillow by the way :)

    I've been slacking in the blog world too! I've always said it's the last of my last on my priority list.

    I love that little heart pillow. I have a sewing machine my husband got me 2 years ago for Christmas and I need to find time to use it more. I don't think I have in almost a year.

    I feel this exactly! Since baby came along, my online life is both less important to me (because I'm spending time with my little family) and more so (because I want to record it all somehow so I never forget how it felt). It's hard finding the right balance!
